The registration process for digital businesses has changed. As of June 25, digital businesses will be able to utilize the new "simplified" registration site using the following link:

Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on our daily lives, the Government of Canada reports that e-commerce sales have increased over 70 percent. Coinciding with the above online registration process, CRA has proposed changes to the GST/HST rules that will apply when a foreign business sells to consumers in Canada. This includes instances of cross-border digital products and services and more. The proposed changes are set to take place July 1, 2021. Read more at:
