The personal tax season for 2022 is upon us and CRA has released their official opening dates for EFILE and REFILE services.
As always, EFILING is the most efficient way to file your personal tax return for 2022. I always recommend transmitting your return electronically when possible. If you contact me to do your taxes this year you can be sure that the process will be stress free and your information will be transmitted on time and accurately.
Per the Canada Revenue Agency:
"The EFILE and ReFILE services are now closed for the electronic filing of your client's initial and amended T1 personal income tax and benefit return. The EFILE and ReFILE services will re-open on Monday February 20, 2023"

Please also keep in mind that the filing due date for 2022 personal taxes is April 30, 2022.
